How to Create Featured Product in Magento 2

Cross-selling products is an effective marketing gimmick used over the years. The default Magento 2 offers features that aid the store owners to feature products in Magento 2 store and hence cross-sell products.

Additionally, visitors may get overwhelmed and lost if you offer thousands of products in the store. Instead, featuring some of the best-selling or recommended products may prompt them to check it out and eventually make a purchase.

Create featured product in Magento 2 and display them as best-selling, discount, recommended, few left, etc. in the frontend.

Follow the below steps for the same.

Steps to Create Featured Product in Magento 2:

Here, I have taken the example to create Magento 2 featured products on homepage.

1. Login to admin panel
2. Navigate to Content > Pages
3. Open the page where you want to feature the products in the edit mode
   
   
4. Enable the page status
5. Set the Page Title
6. Expand the “Page in Websites” section and select the Store View.
7. Expand the Content tab and click on the “Insert Widget” button to add the widget for this page
   1. Select the Widget type
   2. Configure the below Widget Options:
      1. Display type
      2. Display page control
      3. Number of products to display
      4. Template
8. Now, in the Content tab, click on the Insert Widget button
9. Save the configuration
