How to Enable Single Store Mode in Magento 2
Magento 2 allows running multi-stores which is a great feature when you want to expand your business, set up stores for more than one location, or manage multiple stores from single admin panel.
However, that is not the case for each business. And at that time, the scope indicator for each configuration is unnecessary. It may annoy the admin of the store.
This is what I’m talking about:
You can get rid of it as it is not useful to you or may not work in some scenarios for your single Magento 2 store.
So, what you can do is enable single store mode in Magento 2. This will turn off all store view options and scope indicators.
Later, if you add more store views, the single store mode will be overridden.
Simply follow these steps shown below and you’re done:
Steps to enable single store mode in Magento 2:
- Login to admin panel
- Go to Stores > Settings > Configuration
- Select General under General
- Expand Single Store Mode section
- Set “yes” to Enable Single Store Mode
- Save your configuration
- Refresh cache
That’s it.
