How to Edit Store View in Magento 2
Magento 2 allows offering different store views based on languages, location, etc. The default Magento 2 store has a single view.
The view name appears in the language chooser. Hence, the store admin may want to change the name of the default view that is descriptive. Add store view control in admin form as Magento 2 supports multiple store views and the admin can manage the features and functionalities based on store views.
One can do so by changing the label from the “Name” field.
Follow the method to edit store view in Magento 2 store menu.
Note: If your store has multiple store views, do not change the store “Code” field unless verified that the value is not referenced in “index.php"
file. You may ask a developer for help in case you don’t have the access to server.
Steps to Edit store view in Magento 2:
- Login to admin panel
- Go to Stores > Settings > All Stores
- Click the Name of the view you want to edit
- Update Store, Name, Code, Status, and Sort Order
- Save the store view
That’s it.
