Meet Magento India 2023 was a blast! π€©
The much-awaited event was organized on Feb 3, 2023, at The Leela, Mumbai, by the organizers β Evrig & Wagento. And this time, it was organized in-person after two years of virtual meetups. Meetanshi remained a premier attendee of the event β from the insightful Magento sessions to the networking drinks in the evening, we felt the liveliness of Magento community! Much obliged to the organizers for hosting such an amazing day for the community.

Our Journey β Bhavnagar to The Leela, Mumbai π
Team Meetanshi traveled 600+ KMs from Bhavnagar to Mumbai to attend Meet Magento India 2023 event. The plan was to reach Mumbai by Friday, the evening before the event.
Our caravan started in Friday morning from Bhavnagar. We reached Ahmedabad by car in the morning and decided to reach Mumbai by rail. It took us over 6 hours to reach Mumbai.
Now, we were not more away from our final destination. Taking a taxi to reach The Leela would have been a comfortable choice, but we decided to experience typical Mumbaikar feeling by going with the metro. Glad we got some space to breathe in the crowded compartment.
Lastly, after a tiring, adventurous, and fun-filled journey of more than 12 hours, we reached our destination β The Leela.

We reached the venue in the morning, completed the registration process, grabbed our seats, and were all set to get started! π
The event started with the opening remarks by Vijay Golani, the Founder, and CEO of Evrig Solutions.
Sessions were split into three tracks β
- Technical Track
- Business Track
- Solution Track
We attended all the sessions through the Meet Magento India 2023 event. They were quite engaging and informative.

The experts’ sessions helped us get industry insights and explore new perspectives about the future of Magento & Adobe Commerce.
We also had fun participating in quizzes, lucky draws, and raffle competitions.

The MM23IN sessions started with opening remarks by Vijay Golani, Founder & CEO at Evrig.

Dan Garner, Founder Tand Managing Director of On Tap Networks Ltd and Aitoc took us through the past of Magento platform, its acquisition by Adobe, current state, and future.

India is an emerging economy with a steep curve of digitalization. The panel discussion hosted at Meet Magento India 2023 discussed benefits of eCommerce to ΰ€ΰ€Ύΰ€°ΰ€€. Key speakers included Vijay Golani, Vatsal Shah, and Arun Bansal.

Role of Adobe Sensei in Adobe Commerce
Shaktisinh Thakor from Adobe hosted the session; which shed light on the possibilities of AI in eCommerce using technologies such as Adobe Sensei.
It was indeed a fantastic session for Adobe & Magento enthusiasts.
The Hidden Roadblocks of Todayβs Customer Journey – How to Fix Them
What are the common problems customers face during online shopping? Why do customers abandon their carts? Such general problems were addressed by Uri Strauss β Co-Founder and CEO of Webeyez. It was a really informative session for the merchants.

Fork it, Own it, Grow it, Better! with Mage OS (Online)
Vinai Kopp, the technical director at Hyva.io and president of Mage OS Association Board, presented an informative session on Mage OS, which covered many technical aspects of the platform.

Support, or not to Support…that’s the question!
Ray Bogman, Senior Global Software Support Manager at Magento, delivered a session on the latest SWAT (Site-Wide Analysis Tool) by Adobe. Ray, in his session, showed how the SWAT tool could be useful to Adobe Commerce (Magento) merchants.

Other significant event sessions also included Solution Consulting Practice Lead by Saurabh Sharma, a session on eCommerce mistakes by Zenul Jinwala, and a session on mental health by Lukasz Bajsarowicz.
Closing Remarks & Networking Drinks π₯
Sessions ended well with the closing remarks by J. P. Singh, CEO of Wagento. It was followed by fun-filled evening drinks that allowed us to connect with Magento peers.
Exchange of revolutionary ideas, new perspectives, and a lot of networking β that’s what we did while sipping the evening drinks. The mouth-watering food also adds to the things we enjoyed the most at MM23IN. π
Overall, it was an evening spent well by the Mit crew.
