How to Make the Transactional Email being Sent Asynchronously or Synchronously in Magento 2
It may happen that when a customer creates an account or place an order, he/she does not receive a confirmation or transactional email acknowledging their action.
In such a situation, a customer may lose trust from the Magento 2 store because of the poor user experience.
Therefore, it is mandatory to ensure that the customers receive a confirmation mail while creating an account or a transaction email while placing an order.
Without a transaction email, a customer might believe that something has gone wrong with the payment process.
The default Magento 2 offers the facility to send a confirmation email on new customer registration and order confirmation email. However, even after setting up, many merchants have faced complaints regarding not receiving the confirmation email.
To address this issue, the below method shows how to make the transactional email being sent asynchronously or synchronously in Magento 2.
Steps to Make the Transactional Email being Sent Asynchronously or Synchronously in Magento 2:
- Login to Magento 2 admin panel
- Navigate to Stores > Configuration
- Under Sales, go to Sales Emails
- Expand General Settings and set Asynchronous sending to Disable or Enable based on your business requirement.
- With the “Disable” option, the emails are sent on event occurrence.
- With the “Enable” option, the emails are sent with regular intervals.
- Click Save Config
That’s it.
