How to Configure Credit Memo Comments in Magento 2
Maintaining good relationships and providing the best shopping experience to customers are two of the most essential things for E-commerce stores.
To tackle the refund, Magento 2 allows the merchants to create a credit memo and send a credit memo email, telling customers regarding the refunds.
Furthermore, Magento 2 also allows adding comment text for credit memo comments.
These credit memo comments can be sent to multiple email addresses with the steps to configure credit memo comments in Magento 2.
If you want to inform the details regarding credit memo email, for instance, to the Account Department and Sales Department, you can simply add their email addresses. Likewise, you can also configuration of order comments in Magento 2 to understand any notes along with the order that an admin needs to know.

Steps to Configure Credit Memo Comments in Magento 2:

Login to Magento 2 admin panel

Navigate to Stores > Settings > Configuration

Under Sales, select Sales Emails

Expand Credit Memo Comments section

The default option is set as Enabled that explains the credit memo comments email, the merchants can send to the customers when a refund is asked.

In Credit Memo Comment Email Sender, select the person from whom the credit memo comment email will be sent. The default Magento 2 offers five email addresses.

In Credit Memo Comment Email Template, select the template based on your requirement or select the default option.

In Credit Memo Comment Email Template for Guests, choose the template for customers who have not created an account in your store.

In Send Credit Memo Comment Copy Email To, enter the multiple email addresses to whom you want to send credit memo comment email copy. Separate email addresses with a comma.

Send Credit Memo Comment Copy Email To, select bcc(blind carbon copy) or separate email copy method based on your requirement.

Click Save Config
