A Trip to Remember – Polo Forest Camping & Adventure
Very well said:
“Nothing could be better than a picnic.”
Staying with the person the whole day long helps establish a great connection and know them well.
It was the time to have a joyful weekend for Mit Crew members.
Just like every year, team Meetanshi planned to have an enjoyable trip to Polo Forest. It is considered one of the best tourist spots.
Polo Forest is located near the north side of Gujarat near the Rajasthan border in the mountain range of Aravalli. The river Harnav passes through the forest, and holds great historical importance. It has rich wildlife, including bears, wild cats, vultures, and other species.
The planning started almost a month before. It was a weekend trip, so we started our journey late Friday night. After traveling for around 8 hours, we reached our destination Polo Retreat Resort. The resort’s campus was lovely where we enjoyed various activities like playing Carrom, badminton, and swimming. Here are some of the snaps that team Meetanshi enjoyed at Polo forest.
We could have never known that our Magento developers & marketers are master at playing volleyball in the water without this trip!
Team members were eager to have fun in the swimming pool. Playing other outdoor activities is great, but chilling out in the swimming pool is entertaining.
We lived in tents which was quite an fantastic experience. Once we got freshen up and had lunch, we had to leave for sightseeing, which charged us for the day. There was a guide along with us who accompanied and described the history of Polo forest. This place had a variety of flora and fauna, and the guide explained it’s benefits.
The forest has around 400 species to explore and gain knowledge. The atmosphere was charming with mountains and the river flowing through, and the water was so clear that we could watch it clearly underneath. It is an excellent place for nature lovers!
We even visited an ancient tree popularly known as “Barkat ka Ped” which is believed to have medicinal properties in its roots. It is approximately 600 years old that is even worshipped by people.
After returning to the resort and relaxing, Mit Crew members enjoyed DJ that everyone loves. No doubts, dancing is super-fun.
The trip not only helped to explore the destination but also helped to know each other better. After walking long and dancing for hours, the food automatically seems tasty enough. And then, we had dinner all together. What next could be expected with friends while staying in the forest after having dinner. The most obvious answer is to have a campfire. In the end, the day ended with many ever-lasting memories and lots of gossips.
There cannot be a better place to wake up in the morning than this. The sunrise was amazing. The atmosphere was such wonderful that you could even spend days over here. After having a coffee in this peaceful atmosphere, we left for a 2-hour long trekking. We had to walk for a couple of kilometers.
We had an exact trekking experience as we moved through a dense forest area with trees, hills, rivers surrounded. It was a really mind-blowing experience for Mit Crew members to have trekking at Polo forest.
The trek made us hungry, and after breakfast, we had to bid farewell to the wonderful place. And then, we started our journey towards Bhavnagar. So, to enjoy, have fun and make unforgettable memories, you can be part of Mit crew.
This was not just the end of the journey, but it has made a life-long bond that will be cherished forever!
