A Magento store having visitors from around the globe & using PayPal Checkout, formerly known as PayPal Express, as a payment method have to provide payment transaction facility in their preferred currency.
Default PayPal doesn't provide currency conversion for payment. For example, when a customer chooses INR as a transaction currency on Magento, he must be allowed to complete the purchase and make payment in INR only. But while using PayPal Checkout in Magento for payments, the currency gets changed to the base currency on the PayPal site. This may confuse the customer and he may cancel the purchase.
To provide support for multiple currencies while payment through PayPal Checkout, Meetanshi has developed Magento PayPal Multi Currency module. It makes sure that the currency chosen by the customer remains intact throughout the payment completion process.
