Make Your Magento 2 Store GDPR Compliant
The Magento 2 GDPR extension helps to make your online store GDPR compliant. The admin can easily enable and disable the extension from the backend. The store admin can enable the 'Privacy Policy' tab for the customers. The module facilitates displaying the privacy policy popup to the customers on their first visit, allows logging their consents and also provides an option to clear them regularly.
The extension allows to automatically clean consent log entries after a specific number of days. The module also offers to show privacy policy popups to the customers in the frontend.
Protecting Customers' Data Using GDPR Extension
GDPR extension for Magento 2 facilitates the customers to download their personal data in CSV files. The admin can choose options to allow the customers to anonymize and delete their accounts with the store. Furthermore, the admin can choose to allow the customers to opt-out of the given consent.
Magento store owners can set an option to download fields with filled values only and information related to the data protection officer. Admin can show the data protection office details by setting the section name, and entering the information through a WYSIWYG editor.
The customers can download their personal data, anonymize it, and delete their account by entering their password in the My Account section. The data protection officer section is also displayed to the customers.
Automatically Delete Personal Data Using Magento 2 GDPR
The Magento 2 GDPR extension allows deleting accounts of abandoned customers after a certain period. The admin can enable the account auto-deletion from the backend and enter the number of inactive days to delete the customer's account from the store after that. The admin can also prevent data deletion with recent orders.
The admin can enter the data deletion prevention period in number of days and choose to prevent data deletion of accounts with specific order status. The customer accounts having the selected order status will not be deleted for a certain period of time as configured in the backend.
Send Account Anonymization Deletion Email Notifications
The GDPR Magento 2 extension allows the admin to send account anonymization and deletion email notifications. The admin can choose the email sender, reply email, and the email template for the anonymization acknowledgement email notifications.
Store admin can customize the personal data deletion email notifications. It allows allows to configure the email sender, reply to email, and template for sending account deletion requests to the manager and account approval/rejection notifications to the customer. The manager can manage all the account deletion requests submitted by the customers from the 'Manage Deletion Requests' grid.
Magento 2 GDPR Configure Cookie Consent
The admin can enable and display "Cookie Policy Bar" in the customers' account section. The module allows admin to hide the cookie bar if no decision is taken. The admin can also limit to display the cookie policy bar to the customers from specific countries only.
Extension allows the store admin to log the guest customers' consents and auto-delete them after a certain period of time (in days). Admin can also choose to show the cookie notice display style from Sidebar, Classic Bar, and Popup. Furthermore, the admin can fully customize the style to match the store's theme using the options provided in the backend.
Manage Cookies & Cookie Groups in Magento 2
The backend grid "Manage Cookies" allows the admin to manage, add and delete the cookies. The admin can select multiple cookies for a mass action. The grid provides complete options to add new cookies or edit the existing ones. For adding or editing cookies, the Magento store admin can enable or disable specific cookies, enter cookie name, provider, description, lifetime, cookie type, and cookie group.
Admin can easily manage, add, or edit the cookie groups using the backend grid "Manage Cookie Groups", which lists all the cookie groups. The admin can select if they want to make the cookie group mandatory for the customers.
For the cookie groups, the admin can enter the group code, group name, description, assign cookies, and enter the sort order of the group to show to the customers.
Manage Consent Checkboxes in Magento 2
The frontend grid "Manage Consent Checkboxes" allows to manage, add and delete all the consent checkboxes. The module allows the admin to enter the checkbox name and code. The customers are required to mark the checkbox for accessing the website. The admin can hide the checkbox after the consent is taken and opt to log the entries.
Allows admin to set locations, priority and text for the consent checkbox. Magento 2 GDPR allows Magento store owners to select the type of consent link, CMS page and the countries you want to display the consent checkbox. The users cannot register without accepting the mandatory policies on the registration page. The backend grid "Manage Consent Checkboxes Log" logs all the consent checkbox entries by the customers. Moreover, the backend grid "Manage Consent Action Log Entries" lists all the approved/rejected account deletion requests.
Managing Privacy Policy Documents in Magento 2
The backend grid "Manage Privacy Policy Documents" enables the admin to manage, add and delete the policy documents. Store admin can easily draft a new privacy policy by adding a comment, version number, and content using the WYSIWYG editor. The admin can activate or deacives the policy by setting its status.
Once configured, the customers, in the frontend, will receive a privacy policy popup, along with the notification.
