Make the most out of the extension by configuring the backend options correctly! Let’s see how!
Enable the extension from the backend. You can enable it for global, category specific or product specific. In the case of category-specific, select the categories from the list. Moreover, you can enable the button or label for the call for price. Set the call for price button text. The extension can be configured based on the customer groups also. Enable this feature and select the customer groups from the list to enable the extension for. Also, add the custom title for the call for price form.
The extension allows users to send an inquiry for contact. For that, enter the admin’s Email ID and select the Email Sender. Also, select the Email template.
Moreover, with Call for Price for Magento 2, automatically acknowledge the customers’ request. Send an auto-reply Email to them by enabling it from the backend. Select the Email Sender and Email template for the same.
To comply with the EU’s GDPR, enable the privacy checkbox to be shown in the call for price form. Enter the custom privacy notice text. Select the privacy policy redirection page from the dropdown.
Security being important, enable the Google reCAPTCHA from the backend to avoid spams. To integrate Magento 2 with Google reCAPTCHA, enter the site key obtained while registration with Google reCAPTCHA.
The extension also allows enabling the product-specific call for price feature. Enter the button or label text to be displayed in the frontend.
Once configured, the extension hides the price and replaces the “Add to Cart” button with “Contact for Price” button on the category page.
Similarly, the product price and “Add to Cart” button are hidden on the product page. If the label is enabled, it is displayed with custom text as shown here:
When a customer selects to submit a contact request, a contact inquiry form is seen where the customer is required to enter the personal required details along with the inquiry message. Also, he has to agree with the privacy policy of the store and solve Google reCAPTCHA before submitting the form.
The “Call for Price Inquiries” backend grid enlists all the price inquiries.
The admin is notified with an Email whenever an inquiry is submitted.
Also, the auto-reply Email is sent to the customers acknowledging their request.
