How to Show Prefix Field in Magento 2
The formal societal arrangement includes addressing a person with a prefix.
The prefix with the name shows the marital status of women as well. In an English language, Mr., Miss., and Mrs. are generally used as a prefix for men and women respectively. You can also Show Suffix Field in Magento 2 to show the generational designation such as “Jr.” and “Sr.” also the number of generation uses suffixes like “I”,” II”, “III”, and so on, that indicates the first generation, the second generation and the third generation respectively.

Steps to Show Prefix Field in Magento 2:
- Login to Magento 2 admin panel
- Navigate to Stores > Settings > Customers
- Under Customer, select Customer Configuration
- Expand Name and Address Options
- Set Required in the field “Show Prefix”
- Enter the Prefix Dropdown Options that you want to appear in the list using a semicolon separator.
- Save the configuration
