Magento 2 Order Attachment extension allows customers to attach pdf files, images or any file type while placing the orders.

The Order Attachment for Magento 2 allows customers to attach pdf, doc, images, etc. type of files while placing or processing an order. Admin gets notified via Email when customers add attachments so as to take the required action corresponding to the files attached. Admin can also add attachments to the orders to communicate with customers about certain patterns the store offers, personalization ideas, quote, etc.
The Magento 2 module for uploading attachments helps the store owner deliver highly personalized products to customers. Moreover, it is easier to process each order referring the corresponding documents attached. This makes the order delivery smooth and errorless!

Configure Magento 2 Order Attachment Extension by Meetanshi
Take a look at how you can make the most out of the extension!
Enable the module and give the directory path where the uploaded attachments are to be saved. Being the admin of the store, you can control the type of files that customers can attach from the frontend. Also, restrict the file size for each attachment.
The extension allows selecting customers groups to allow attachment upload. Admin has full control over if customers can add attachments in existing orders, delete the attachments, send a notification to customers when he updates the attachment or get a notification when customers add attachments. Also, admin can allow customers to add attachments from Checkout Onepage and add comments there.
The module requires Email settings to be configured for email notification to admin and customers. Enable this feature from the backend and add the admin name and email id. Select the Email template and how you want to send Email to customers. Enable the feature to add attachments in the Email.
If a customer tries to attach an invalid file type that is restricted by admin, an error message as shown below is displayed.

Also, customers can check the attachments already uploaded and attach new files from “My Orders”.
There is a separate tab “My Order Attachments” in the “My Account” section where all the attached files are enlisted.

The File Upload module for Magento 2 enables notification emails to admin when a customer attached files while placing an order. The email consists of Order ID, name and the email of the customer along with the attached files.
Similarly, customers get notified when admin adds new attachments with similar details with the added files as shown here.
